Sebagai dosen, memiliki publikasi ilmiah yang berkualitas adalah salah satu kewajiban yang harus dipenuhi untuk meningkatkan jabatan fungsional. Salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan publikasi ilmiah adalah dengan memilih jurnal internasional yang bereputasi.

Berikut adalah beberapa tips untuk memilih jurnal internasional yang bereputasi :

Cek Tahun Coverage: Pastikan jurnal tersebut telah terindeks dalam database Scopus atau Web of Science selama beberapa tahun terakhir.
Cek Daftar Discoverage dan Predatory: Pastikan jurnal tersebut tidak terdaftar dalam daftar jurnal predatory atau tidak bereputasi.
Cek Kualitas Impact Factor: Pastikan jurnal tersebut memiliki Impact Factor yang lebih besar dari 0,1.
