UDB Surakarta Partners with PT Konimex and Other Partners to Provide Briefing for Prospective Graduates to Prepare Them for the World of Work

Duta Bangsa University (UDB) Surakarta held a briefing for 1,153 prospective graduates as a strategic effort to prepare graduates to face the challenges of a competitive, dynamic, and ever-evolving world of work. This activity was held in Ballroom 1 of the UDB Surakarta Rectorate Central Campus, Jalan Ki Mangun Sarkoro No. 20, Nusukan, Banjarsari, Surakarta. Through this briefing program, prospective graduates not only gained practical knowledge and career insights, but were also trained to master various soft skills such as effective communication, leadership, time management, and professional work ethics. The main objective of this activity is to produce graduates who are adaptive, innovative, and ready to compete in various sectors, both industry and government agencies.

Several competent speakers were also present to provide briefing sessions, including:

1. Mac Arif Hamdanas, Ph.D., who presented on Public Speaking & Personal Pitching to equip students with effective speaking and self-presentation skills.

2. Ruth Eliana Satyawibawa, S.Psi., HR from PT Konimex, who provided guidance on CV writing and strategies for job interviews.

3. Kresna Agung Yudhianto, S.Psi., M.Psi., who discussed the psychological aspects of navigating the world of work and the importance of mental health.

4. Irvan Wahyu Widiasmoro, A.Md.T., who provided insight and preparation for participants interested in pursuing a career as a State Civil Apparatus (ASN).

The Rector of UDB Surakarta stated that this training is part of the university's commitment to producing graduates who are not only academically superior, but also possess mental readiness, professionalism, and high competitiveness in the workplace. Through this activity, UDB Surakarta hopes that graduates can utilize the knowledge and skills they have acquired as initial provisions in developing their careers, building professional networks, and adapting to the ever-changing dynamics of the workplace. Furthermore, it is hoped that they will be able to become agents of change who bring good name to their alma mater and make positive contributions to the advancement of the nation. Universitas Duta Bangsa Surakarta will continue to innovate in improving the quality of education and graduate development so that they can have a real impact on society and the country.
